Embedded RFID & NFC tags

TRACKING ASSETS AND INVENTORY

Each day volumes of materials get shipped, received, stored, lost, and found around the world. When it arrives at its destination, items need to be stored and kept in order. Pallets, racks, bins, and bags, physically store items but how do YOU keep track of it all? What inventory systems are you using?

RFID

Using an electromagnetic reader device, a minute radio transponder chip (attached to an item, box, roll, etc.) sends a signal that is tracked by the reader.

Romo can embed RFID chips inside decals. Tiny chips are buried and invisible to the naked eye and undetectable to the touch. Embedded tags are used on the production line to verify the correct decal is applied to final products.

Each decal is scanned on the production line to verify the correct decals are placed on final product. Be it a branding logo, required emission notification, or instruction decals, the wrong label can scrap the entire product if wrongly placed.

NFC

An NFC (near-field communication) chip buried behind a QR code is a perfect way to provide online instructions manuals for durable goods. By scanning the code or placing a smart phone near label, it will automatically route to any website page.

Websites communicate sales, events, instructions, general information about your company and product.

Barcodes

The old reliable is always an option. Create your own tags or receive sequentially-printed labels you can assign on site.

Barcode parts to scan on the production line. Verification and part tracking is done through a hand-held scanner.

What if an RFID or NFC chip is embedded in the barcode tag? A built in double-check!
