When Mercury Marine began designing its all-new 3.4L V6 FourStroke outboard engine, the focus, as always was to create an engine that was faster, lighter and quieter than any other engine in the marketplace.  As the new engine line took shape, Mercury looked to Romo Durable Graphics as a partner for the graphics needed to enhance the new engine.

Romo Durable Graphics’ account manager, Russ Phillips, was approached by Mercury’s design team and he knew exactly what they needed. A dimensional graphic that could withstand the rigors a boat engine experiences daily: heat, humidity, salt water, and sun. “The graphic had to subtly scream high-design and streamline look while fitting within the pricing model that was set,” explained Russ.

Romo Durable Graphics design and production team worked closely to develop a custom-printed TreVista dimensional graphic that met the expectations of Mercury and gave the consumer an engine they would be proud to showcase.  Not only has the design and performance improved, but now, boaters can choose from a variety of color panels like white, red, blue, and black.
